Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu 1300m/4265ft

Upon the arrival in Kathmandu, we Everest Six-Summit Adventures will be welcoming you at the Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA) and accompany you to the hotel. There will be time to rest and take in this vibrant city's energy, before having briefing about the trek and introduce with the trekking guide.

Day 02: Drive to Jhapre 2820m/9251ft (7-8 hours)

Today we will drive to Jhapre early in the morning after breakfast. Kathmandu to Jhapre is about 215 km. On the way of Sunkoshi River (600m), we will stop for the lunch. After that continue drive to Jhapre Monastery.

Day 03: Trek to Lhamuje 3500m/11482ft via Tolu Monastery 3372m/11062ft (4-5hours)

Today, on the way we will visit one of the oldest Monastery “Tolu Gumba”. Then we will continue trek to Lhamuje which is also known as “Yak Pasture” with great view of Mountains in Northeast. Overnight at Lhamuje.

Day 04: Trek to Pikey Base Camp 3640m/11942ft (4-5hours)

Today we will be walking along the pine trees, where we will see Rhododendrons, juniper with open landscape. Here, you can see yaks grazing and get a chance to drink fresh and tasty yak milk. Overnight Base camp near Yak Dairy.

Day 05: Early morning climb Pikey Peak for sunrise view and trek to Taklung 3306m/10825ft (6-7 hours)

This day we will climb the peak. While climbing the peak we can enjoy the sunrise view and mountain peaks. We can see view of mountain peaks. We can see view of mountains from third highest Mt. Kanchenjunga to Mt. Makalu including Mt. Everest. After climbing the peak, we will trek back to Taklung. Taklung is a summer pasture, also known as “Yak Pasture” with great view of Mt Gaurishankar, Langtang range etc. in Northwest. Overnight at Taklung.

Day 06: Trek to Kingguarding 3098m/10164ft (5-6 hours)

Kingguarding is one of the greatest monastery. There we will see many young children for study to be monk from surrounding villages like Patale, Chhermading, Dorkharka, Chuplung, Bhusinga and others also due to which this Monastery is famous. However due to the earthquake devastation of 2015, it is under construction.   

Day 07: Trek to Chuplung Bhanjyang 2578m/8458ft (5-6 hours)

Today we will trek to chhuplung Bhanjyang. On the way we will trek through Thole Demba ridge, which is the highest point of Okhaldhunga District. We will see fantastic view of Gaurishankar range, Rollwaling area, Langtang range and many more. Similarly we will see beautiful Sherpa village of Dorakharka, Phapre, Chhuplung, Jantarkhanini with Tolu monastery in south side. We will see more than 10 types of rhododendron, 5-6 types of pine trees etc. and many types of wild animal such as jungle wolf, snow leopard, black bear, barking dear, jackal, languor and many species of bird with lophophorus. Research has shown availabilities of copper in this area and has built a pillar at the top of the hill as a symbol.

In Chuplung, it is said that Sir Edmund Hillary was interested to build a school when he visited this place first. But people did not respond him well at that time because they didn't know much about how the school give benefit to their children. After that Hillary established Hillary school in Khumjung. People used to escape and try to hide seeing foreign people due to the lack of education. They missed such a golden opportunities and pushed their society many more years back. 

Day 08: Drive to Kathmandu (7-8 hours)

Today, we will catch an early morning drive to Kathmandu after our mountain journey. Along the way we will see Pokali waterfall.

Day 09: Departure to home

Our trip in Nepal ends today. We Everest Six-Summit will pick you up from hotel and drop to International Airport few hours before the scheduled flight.
