Larkya peak is rarely climbed trekking peaks of Nepal, open for climbing under mountaineering association Nepal. Height of Larkya peak north is 6010m. Mountaineering association Nepal declared Mt. Larkya peak in group “A” category climbing peak. Main attraction of Larkya peak is panoramic views of Himalayan peaks like Manaslu, Himlung Himal, Ganesh Himal, Annapurna, and other Tibetan mountain ranges etc. Larkya peak is situated at Manaslu Himalayan range in Manaslu region at Gorkha District, Nepal. 

Manaslu region is opened for foreigners since 1992. Mt larkya climbing peak is located at Manaslu range of mountains in the Gorkha district of Nepal which is historical district of Nepal It is a rarely climbed peak and permits have only been issued to climb Larkya peak since 2002. Manaslu area is newly opened for climbing and trekking. Larkya peak is not technically difficult for climbing. Larkya peak climbing journey continues passing through many villages of the Tibetan origin. Tibetan villages offer an opportunity to explore their customs cultures and lifestyle etc.

Larkya peak climbing itinerary has been carefully designed to allow for gradual ascend and proper acclimatization by our climbing expert. Best season for Larkya peak climbing is from March to May and September to December. Larkya peak climbing arranges camping basic only. Day 01: Welcome to Nepal, upon your arrival in Nepal our representative welcome and assists to transfer Hotel. 

Day 02: Kathmandu city tours and preparation for Larkya peak climbing.

Day 03: Drive from Kathmandu to Arugat (760m) 8h. 

Day 04: Trek from Arughat to Soti Khola (760m). 6h. 

Day 05: Trek from Soti Khola to Machha Khola or Khorlabesi (820m). 7h 

Day 06: Trek from Machha Khola to Jagat (1360m). 7h 

Day 07: Trek from Jagat to Philim (1590m).3h 

Day 08: Trek from Philim to Deng (1920m). 5/6h 

Day 09: Trek from Deng to Namrung (2550m). 6h 

Day 10: Trek from Namrung to Lho (3180m). 5h 

Day 11: Trek from Lho to Sama Gaon (3360m). 4h 

Day 12: Rest at Sama Gaon for acclimatization. 

Day 13: Trek from Sama Gaon to Samdo (3780m). 4h 

Day 14: Trek from Samdo to Dharamsala. (4400m) 4h 

Day 15-17: Larkya Peak Climbing period 

Day 18: Summit the Larkya Peak then back to base camp. 

Day 19: Trek from Base Camp to Bimtang (3630m) via Larkya pass (5250m) 6/7h 

Day 20: Trek from Bimtang to Tilje or Jagat (2240m). 7/8h 

Day 21: Drive from Jagat to Besisahar Jeep then Besisahar to Kathmandu, By Bus evening farewell dinner. 

Day 22: We will transfer to airport for your onward destination.
