Flanked by the Annapurnas to the west and Ganesh Himal to the east, Manaslu is one of the most graceful of 8000m giants, while the circular tour around it counts among the truly great treks of the Himalaya. Physically demanding, culturally enriching and scenically uplifting, it takes you from the steamy lowlands with their terraces of rice and millet through the mighty gorges of the Buri Gandaki, to the snow-bound Larkya La close to the Tibetan boarder, then down the well-known Marsyangdi Valley to the verdant foothill country once more. Larke La (5235m) is high point of this trek from where we gain fantastic view of Himlung Himal, Kang Guru and Annapurna II, Himal Chuli, Annapurna range, Shringi Himal, Ganesh Himal, Manaslu Glacier. It’s a visual feast from start to finish, but you'll need to be fit.
