Upper Mustang trek officially opened in 1992 Ad for foreigner trekkers. It is located north of Annapurna region at an elevation of 4200m. The valley is barren and dry with bight rock formations holding many caves high up in the rock face. Lomathang is the capital of Upper Mustang, here, we explore ancient Tibet Monastery,Tibetian culture, incredible landscape, architecture and way of life  of the unique Tibetan culture, place- Lo Gekar Monastery constructed in the 8th  century. In a Lomanthang village area there are  inhabited by the Tibetan Buddhists. Here are several different types of Buddhist Monasteries built before the fifteen century. The mystical region of Upper Mustang was guessed clearly with its ancient monasteries,  Chhortens. Local people celebrate different festivals as Tiji and preserved their cultural traditions.

Upper Mustang trek begins from Pokhara to Jomosm flight then pass through Kali Gandaki river to Kagbeni.*Please see an itinerary). Nepal Government categorized it in a restricted area and trekking permit fee is more expensive than Normal region.  During this trek exploration in the Upper mustang trekking trail, you will take view of the glorious panorama of the mountain ranges including Dhaulagiri (8167m), Annapurna I (8091m), Manaslu range (8,163m). 

Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu Airport (1345meters). 

Day 02: Drive Kathmandu to Pokhara (823m) by tourist bus or private car. 

Day 03: Fly to Jomsom (25 minutes) and trek to Kagbeni (2858m) 3 hrs. trek to Kagbeni. 

Day 04: Trek Kagbeni to Chele (3050m) - 5-6 hrs.

Day 05: Trek Chele to Syanbochen (3475m) 6-7 hrs.

Day 06: Trek Syanbochen to Ghaymi (3520m) - 5-6 hrs.

Day 07: Trek Ghaymi to Tcharang (3500m) - 4-5 hrs.

Day 08: Trek Tcharang to Lo-Mangthang (3700m) - 5-6 hrs.

Day 09: Explore Lo-Mangthang. 

Day 10: Explore Lo-Mangthang to Drakmar (3810 m) - 6-7 hrs.

Day 11: Trek Dhakmar to Ghiling (3806m) - 5-6 hrs. 

Day 12: Trek Ghiling to Chhuksang (3050m) - 5-6 hrs.

Day 13: Trek Chhuksang to Jomsom (2700m) - 6-7 hrs. 

Day 14: Early fly back to Pokhara and Sightseeing around Pokhara. 

Day 15: Drive from Pokhara to Kathmandu 

Day 16: Freshness in Kathmandu / Shopping day in Kathmandu 

Day 17: Departure to International airport.
