Some details on Mt. Everest:

Mount Everest is also known as “Chomolungma’’ in Tibetan & Sherpa language & “Sagarmatha” in Nepali language. Everest is the earth’s highest mountain, located in the Mahalangur section of the Himalayas. Its peak is 8,848 meters (29,029 ft) above sea level, the furthest point on the surface of the earth from the center. The international border between China & Nepal runs across the precise summit point. It’s massif includes neighboring peaks Lhotse, 8,516m (27,940ft), Nuptse 7,855m (25,771ft) & Changtse 7,580m (24,870ft).

Mount Everest is suitable only for highly experienced mountaineers and capable climbers who are willing and able to hire professional guides. There are two main climbing routes, one approaching the summit from the southeast in Nepal (known as the standard route) and the other from the north in Tibet. While not posing too many substantial technical climbing challenges on the standard route, Everest presents many dangers such as altitude sickness, weather, wind, as well as significant objective hazards from avalanches and the Khumbu Icefall. While the overwhelming majority of climbers use bottled oxygen in order to reach the top, some climbers have summited Everest without supplemental oxygen.

It is our aim to enable those who are capable of climbing Everest or other peaks in Nepal to do so. With Mingmar Sherpa having summated the peak six times, his expertise is a necessary commodity for those wishing to climb the peak for the first time. He will provide his services as Liason for the expedition, ensuring that all the proper preparations are in place, and that the conditions are perfect for your attempt at the summit, doing our very best to ensure your success and safe return.
