Everest Base Camp via Gokyo Lake Trek prevents the regular route travelled by most of the trekkers and leads you along a less travelled trail in Everest region to love the beauty that lies in the glacier lakes of Gokyo. 

Gokyo Lake Trek ascending Gokyo Ri offers an inspiring Mt Everest panorama views, meeting with highland Sherpa people’s life style and their unique cultural hospitality, visit to some of the famous Monasteries. The Ngozumpa glacier, the largest glacier in Nepal and a climb to Gokyo Ri is a major highlight of this trek. As you climb up to Gokyo Ri, you will experience the best views of mountains like Mt. Cho Oyu, Mt. Everest, Mt. Lhotse, Mt. Makalu, Mt. Nuptse, Mt. Amadablam, Mt. Pumori, and many other mountains. The trek reaching to the base of the world's tallest mountain with spectacular views from such celebrated viewpoints like Gokyo Ri and Kala Patthar and then meets the sight of the exciting Khumbu Icefall. This trek is best for trekkers who wish to take up more challenge and "stay off the beaten path".

Day 01: Arrival Kathmandu (1,300m/4,428ft) Transfer to hotel.

Day 02: Fly to Lukla (2,800m/9,184ft) then trek to Phakding (2,652m/8,700ft): 40 min flight, 3-4 hours trek

Day 03: Trek to Namche Bazaar (3,440m/11,283ft): 5-6 hours

Day 04: Namche Bazaar (3,440 m/11,283 ft): Acclimatization Day

Day 05: Trek to Phortse Thanga (3,680m/12,073ft) 5-6 hours

Day 06: Trek to Machhermo (4,470m/ 14,663ft) 4-5 hours

Day 07: Trek to Gokyo (4,800 m/15,744 ft) 4-5 hours

Day 08: Gokyo Valley: Acclimatization Day 

Day 09: Trek to Thagnak (4750 m/15,580 ft) 4-5 hours

Day 10: Trek to Dzongla (15, 939 ft) via Cho La pass (5,367m/17,604 ft) 7-8 hours

Day 14: Trek to Namche Bazaar 6 - 7 hours

Day 15: Trek to Lukla 6-7 hours

Day 16: Flight Lukla to Kathmandu
